About me

My name is Sara I. Santiago Rodríguez and I am a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. In addition to my concentration, I am passionate about the visual arts, which has inspired me to take elective classes in filmmaking and web design, as well as certifications in UX design and digital marketing in addition to my bachelor degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico teaches the fundamentals of marketing that includes: consumer behavior, market research, marketing strategy and communication, and data analysis.

As a graduation requirement, students must complete a Capstone simulation and present research approved by the

IRB (Institutional Review Board) to approve the degree.

American Marketing Association

I have been part of the American Marketing Association, chapter of the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus since 2023. This chapter belongs to the top 20 in United States.

During my membership, I had the opportunity to participate in the logo design competition at the international university conference in New Orleans in 2023. For this achievement, I was recognized as an outstanding student in the year 2024.

I collaborated with the Film Association of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus as co-marketing director on the short film "House of Memories" in 2023.
